VERNIUM FIX 3430

VERNIUM FIX 3430 is a specially developed, free-formaldehyde-based fixative for reactive & direct dyes. It improves the wet fastness properties of fabric dyed or printed with reactive or direct dyes.

Application

Improves washing fastness, sea-water fastness, perspiration fastness & colour bleeding of dyed and printed goods.

Exhaust process: Use according to shade depth — fabric dyed with reactive dyes generally needs a lower dosage than with direct dyes.

• 0.5–1.5% (o.w.f.) for reactive dyeing
• 1.0–2.0% (o.w.f.) for direct dyeing

Treat materials at 30–35°C for 20–30 min, followed by hydroextraction & drying.

Pad-dry process: 10–20 gpl for reactive dyeing, 20–30 gpl for direct dyeing. Pad at room temperature & dry at 100–130°C.

VERNIUM FIX 3430 is of low toxicity and may cause skin irritation. Prolonged skin contact is not recommended; use safety glasses and protective gloves, and consult the product-specific safety data sheet.

Packing

This product is supplied in HDPE drums of 50 kg net weight.

Storage and Handling

No special storage facility is required; store in a covered, well-ventilated area.
